Amanda and Brad

July 6th, 2024.

What a perfect day! Definitely not too hot and not too breezy with the sun shining down. The day started out at house of Jade in Plymouth with the bride-to-be getting her hair and make up done surrounded by all her bridesmaids while the groom got ready at their home in Sheboygan, surrounded by his Groomsmen with Lake Michigan as the backdrop. Needless to say, the cats of House of Jade were curious and playful and definitely brought entertainment.

Meeting everyone at the ceremony home, and seeing all of the beautiful dresses and flowers, making everything tie together. The timing of everything was fluid; can definitely tell the bride and groom are teachers. (Don’t look too hard at my grammatical errors).

The first look was extremely touching, exchanging letters that brought happy tears to both (without ruining the bride’s beautiful makeup). Once the first look was finished, we ushered the bride back into hiding until the ceremony started at Nourishing Farms in Sheboygan Falls. The rustic setting was perfect, the music on point (Taylor Swift fan anyone?), and so many happy and smiling faces for the couple. Having a box locked with every letter of firsts as the coming together as a couple, was beautiful.

The couple finished and we set off to The Village on 170. Beautiful scenery with center pieces of books (such a unique centerpiece for the book lovers), a unique guestbook of a rotary phone to leave a message, and a beautiful backdrop for the head table. The grand march set the tone for a fun filled time, with speeches that had perfect comedic timing. Dancing started and many people got their dancing shoes and left their chairs behind.

It was a perfect day for Brad and Amanda. Thank you for choosing me to capture all of it and be a part of your journey! Congrats!
