A Rain-Kissed Adventure- Kathy & Andy
There’s something wildly romantic about a wedding day that doesn’t go exactly as planned. When the skies opened over Lester Park, Minnesota on September 19th, 2025, instead of running for cover, these two leaned in; hand in hand, laughing beneath umbrellas and tall pines. The gentle rain turned the world into a soft watercolor, mist rising over the trails and the river humming quietly in the background.
They said their vows surrounded by the sound of falling rain; a reminder that adventure isn’t just found on mountaintops or far-off places, but in choosing joy when the day turns a little imperfect. Because isn’t that what marriage is? A promise to dance in the rain together, no matter what storms roll in.
When the clouds finally began to lift, we explored the park for portraits that felt straight out of a dream; the trees glistening, the air crisp, and the love between them radiating in every frame. And because these two are the kind of couple who turn every moment into something fun, the celebration continued with a mini-golf adventure; yes, wedding attire and all! Laughter, playful competition, and a whole lot of heart made for the sweetest kind of magic.
Weeks later, the story continued back home in Sheboygan, Wisconsin for a second celebration at The Quarry. Fall had arrived in full color; the maples glowing in gold and rust, the air carrying that cozy autumn scent. Family and friends gathered once more, sharing hugs, stories, and the kind of love that lingers long after the music fades.
From a rain-kissed forest in Minnesota to a glowing autumn night in Wisconsin, this wedding was a reminder that the best adventures are the ones shared; through every season, every puddle, every golden sunset.
Because sometimes, love writes its most beautiful chapters in the unexpected moments.
